Lyudmila Baeva Is Appointed ASU Vice-Rector for Research Activities

Lyudmila Baeva is leaving the position of Dean of the Faculty of Social Communications, which she has held since 2006. Olga Oskina, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, is now performing the duties of the faculty dean.

Lyudmila Baeva graduated from the Astrakhan State Pedagogical Institute named after S. M. Kirov in 1991 with a degree in History and Soviet Law and immediately started working for her alma mater as a trainee teacher. Then she worked as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, head of the Department of Philosophy of Astrakhan State University. She headed the ASU Faculty of Social Communications for 15 years.

Lyudmila Baeva is a Doctor of Philosophical Sciences and has an academic title of Full Professor at the Department of Philosophy.
