ASU Remuneration System Will Be Brought in Line with Federal Recommendations

Respective decisions were approved yesterday at the conference of workers and students of Astrakhan State University.

Head of the ASU Law Unit Georgy Avlichev presented the legal grounds for changing the structure of salaries at the general university meeting. According to the recommendations of the founder — the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, at least 70% of the salary fund must be spent on the position salary. In accordance with this, it was proposed to increase the salaries of university employees, while revising the system for assigning incentive payments.

The conference approved an action plan to gradually bring the salaries of employees to a level not lower than that recommended by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, the new version of the Regulations on remuneration and the text of an additional agreement to the Collective Agreement for 2019–2021.
