Representatives of the Executive Directorate of the Russian Geographical Society Visit ASU

The official restart of the work of the youth club of the Russian Geographical Society took place at Astrakhan State University in September. Its new head is Viktor Zanozin, a member of IALE-Russia, senior lecturer of the Department of Ecology, Nature & Land Management & Safe Vital Activities.

The acquaintance of activists and experts of the youth club of the Russian Geographical Society with the new leader took place at the ASU Innovative Natural Institute. Besides, official representatives of the Executive Directorate of the Russian Geographical Society were invited to Astrakhan State University as part of the restart of the organization’s activities.

Anna Cherkasova, coordinator of youth clubs of the Russian Geographical Society in Krasnodar, told her Astrakhan colleagues about the main areas of work of the Russian Geographical Society and coordinating efforts to unite the youth around its ideas and values.

Participants of the meeting of the youth club defined its goals, objectives and main areas of its activities. They also touched upon the issue of assigning positions to activists within the club.

Already on September 21, the activists of the club will take part in the 1st All-Russian Forum of Youth Clubs of the Russian Geographical Society which will be held as early as on September, 21 at ASU.
