ASU Welcomes Scientific Advisor of the Embassy of Iran in Russia

Dr. Mohsen Najafi has met with representatives of Astrakhan State University.

The distinguished guest was shown a few structural units of ASU. Mohsen Najafi visited the laboratories of the Institute of Physics & Mathematics, where he got to know about our robotic inventions for agriculture, education, industries and engineering, as well as computer vision developments.

At the Shared Knowledge Center for Creation of VR Multimedia Content, the scientific advisor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia was told about a project on studying the human musculoskeletal system that will help diagnose specific diseases at an early stage.

The main event within the visit of the Iranian representative was his meeting with Head of the ASU Research Laboratory for Mathematical Modeling & ICT in Science & Education, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Prof. Yuri Tarasevich. The foreign guest wanted to hear the opinion of the Russian researcher on the issues of mathematical modeling and to discuss possible ways of cooperation.

The tour around the university ended with a visit to the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation, where the university staff acquainted the guest with the main areas of training Masters in T & I.
