Young Scientists of Astrakhan State University Present Their Developments to the Governor

Representatives of the local scientific community shared their practical ideas on the development of the region with Head of Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin.

Opening the meeting, the governor called the young scientists «the gold of Astrakhan Region in the development of science».

“It is gratifying that you have so many great ideas and burn with science. At the same time, research should have real practical application. Our task is to establish interaction between the scientific community and the regional industrial sphere, so that you can receive requests for solving specific problems. However, we need a breakthrough. We are waiting for your ideas and are ready to support you. It is also important for universities to notice talented children who are interested in scientific activity starting from the very school years,” said Igor Babushkin.

The meeting was moderated by Aleksey Titov, ASU Vice Rector for Digitalization, Innovation and Priority Projects.
