ASU Professor Joins Academic Council of Italian University
The double-degree programme in Ph.D. and doctoral studies is being successfully implemented in the course of the cooperation agreement between ASU and Ca’Foscari University of Venice, Italy.
Since 2015, Ph.D. students and doctoral students have been successfully studying in joint programmes in majors “Political Science”, “International Relations” and “Market, Law and Personality” at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of Astrakhan State University under the scientific guidance of Professor Rafik Usmanov.
Upon the decision of the Ca’Foscari University, Rafik Usmanov was elected member of the academic council of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Venice for awarding a PhD degree in philosophy.
In December, Professor Rafik Usmanov spoke at international conference «Consultative Function and Fundamental Human Rights: New Perspectives in the Eurasian Space”, organized by the Italian branch of the Council of Europe and Ca’Foscari University. He presented his report “Role and Significance of the EAEU Court Advisory Conclusions in Modern Integration Processes”, considering the issues of interaction between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union.
