ASU Team Makes It to the Final of CASE-IN International Engineering Championship
The ASU_EM team includes students of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics & Engineering Technologies of Astrakhan State University Vladimir Zosimov, Amir Adzhumulaev, Pavel Kadatsky and Aleksey Safrygin.
At the off-site qualifying stage, all the teams were sent an engineering case and had 15 days to solve it. Besides, the participants were to make a presentation of their team and a summary of the solution. As a result, the organizers determined 16 teams in each federal district that scored the highest points in the ranking.
At the semi-final stage, the student teams connected to the online platform to defend their case projects. Three teams per each federal district that scored the maximum points based on the results of the peer review won at this stage. In the semi-finals of the Southern Federal District, Astrakhan Region was represented by teams of three universities of the region — Astrakhan State University, Astrakhan State Technical University and Astrakhan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
The ASU_EM team ranked third in the semifinal and was invited to the final of the Autumn Cup of the Student League of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship.
