Give It Large, Students! ASU Celebrates 2022 Tatyana Day on a Grand Scale
The space in front of the main building of the university gathered ASU students and staff in the morning for an interactive event. True student festivities with songs, dances, games, cool gifts and great treats — this is how Russian Students Day came into its own.
As early as in the morning, ASU students felt the atmosphere of the holiday right in front of the university’s entrance. The joyful emotions received today are meant for energizing young people not only for the holidays, but also for the upcoming semester.
Addressing the audience, ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov noted that the celebration was supposed be especially fun, as the student holidays had just started. According to the rector, the students should have a rest with a full sense of the good work done and gain strength for further activities.
The rector also congratulated the students on the wonderful holiday, and girls named Tatiana — on their Saint’s day.
Honorary guests of the celebration and partners of the ASU — Director of the Astrakhan Directorate for Business Development of the Yuzhny Branch of Gazprombank, member of the Board of Overseers of the university Natalya Bakhareva and Director of the Astrakhan branch of Rostelecom Company Sergey Ovsyannikov joined Konstantin Markelov in congratulating the students.
The celebration of Russian Students Day will continue with the student ball Symphony à la russe which is starting at 17h30 in the ASU Cultural Center.
