Astrakhan State University Expands Opportunities for Researchers’ Work
Today, ASU Vice-Rector for Research Activities Lyudmila Baeva and Director of the Innovative Institute of Natural Sciences Anna Fedotova have taken part in a number of meetings in Moscow. The colleagues outlined ways to develop partnerships and support university scientists.
The representatives of Astrakhan State University talked to Vugar Bagirov, Director of the Department for Coordinating the Activities of Agricultural Organizations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and also met with Irina Donnik, the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician, Chair of the Council on the Priority «Transition to highly productive and environmentally friendly agro- and aquaculture, development and implementation systems for the rational use of chemical and biological protection of agricultural plants and animals, storage and efficient processing of agricultural products, the creation of safe and high-quality, including functional, food products» of the Scientific and Engineering Development Strategy of Russia.
Lyudmila Baeva and Anna Fedotova told their colleagues about the ASU environmental projects and those on the development of the agro-industrial complex and outlined the possibilities of interuniversity partnership in these areas. In addition, the format of the meeting allowed to discuss forms of support for university scientists from the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Besides, Lyudmila Baeva was an expert at the meeting of the Higher Attestation Commission Expert Council under the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
