ASU Journalism Students Re-Approve Themselves in the Selection for I Am a Professional Competition
The first stage of the All-Russia educational intellectual competition has come to an end. The participants of the qualifying round in journalism received their points for the creative task in the user accounts. The results of representatives of Astrakhan State University are among the best of the country.
BA students were to upload video, photo and audio files for verification, while MA students were to prepare multimedia material.
This year, 66 ASU journalism students of all study years took part in the qualifying round, which is 20 participants more than last year.
“Journalism students of Astrakhan State University keep demonstrating the excellent quality of preparing projects, and this year, six students received the highest scores possible — more than 90,” Galina Belolipskaya, Head of the Department of Theory and History of Journalism, comments on the results of the first round of the I Am a Professional competition.
Roman Abramov, lecturer at the Faculty of Communications, Media and Design of the Higher School of Economics and mentor of the journalism track of the I Am a Professional competition, commended the creative tasks completed by the students of Astrakhan State University.
