Astrakhan State University has hosted the all-Russian research and practice conference “Prospects and Opportunities for Using Digital Technologies in Science, Education and Management”.

The event, organized by the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity, was held in a mixed format: listeners and speakers from other cities joined the participants in the meeting hall online.

The online meeting was attended by representatives of 43 universities and organizations of Russia. Vice-Rector for Research Lyudmila Baeva and Dean of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity Iskandar Azhmukhamedov addressed the conference participants with welcoming words and noted the importance of such meetings for each of them.

Participants of the scientific event — young scientists, students and teachers — spoke about their view of the digitalization of education in the eyes of both teachers and students, and also mentioned the difficulties they had to face in the process of learning with the use of digital technologies, including remotely.

The topics of the reports made in the plenary session were extensive and relevant; in particular, these were presentations on various artificial intelligence systems.

Upon results of the conference, ASU signed a cooperation agreement with ITMO University, St. Petersburg.
