ASU Vice Rector Speaks at the 11th Urait Teachers’ Summer School
The large-scale event “2022-2030 Digital Education Quality” was held online on June 27-29, involving more than 1,700 teachers and heads of educational institutions of Russia and foreign countries. Aleksey Titov was one of the project experts.
The Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Innovations and Priority Projects of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University spoke on the first day of the 11th Teachers’ Summer School at the panel discussion “Comfortable, Full & Safe Digital Environment”, where experts from leading Russian universities discussed the introduction of electronic technologies in the educational process and their importance, as well as the opportunities for improving the quality of education with modern resources.
Aleksey Titov shared best practices and plans for the development of information technology at Astrakhan State University with the audience. The speaker noted important aspects of the development of universities in the context of modern changes.
Discussing the progress already achieved in the field of science and education with the speakers, the expert shared his opinion about the future of universities in the short run. He told his colleagues and viewers about the experience of creating a metaverse for students, expressing his hope that future students, representatives of Generation Alpha, will appreciate new technologies.
