Vice-Rector for International Affairs Represents ASU at SCO Forum

The meeting of the heads of regions of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states is being held on August 3-4 in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan). Angelina Fadina is there as part of the delegation representing Astrakhan Region.

The main goal of the event is to deepen interregional cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other priority areas, as well as to create favorable conditions for the development of comprehensive cooperation between the regions of the SCO member states.

The event of international scale is attended by heads of state bodies, administrative territorial units, as well as representatives of businesses and universities of the SCO member states. Within the framework of the forum, panel sessions will be held in areas like tourism, logistics, cultural and humanitarian cooperation and agriculture.
