ASU Representative Takes Part in Russia-Africa Forum in Moscow
The event has brought together leaders of youth public organizations of Russia and African countries to discuss key issues for the development of international youth dialogue and building consistent work.
The youth public forum was held jointly by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the National Council of Youth and Children’s Associations of Russia, the World Association of Graduates of Higher Educational Institutions and MIREA — Russian Technological University.
On the sidelines of the forum, Astrakhan Tatishchev State University was represented by Fernando Samba Jose, the Chairman of the Association of International Students who is a citizen of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
The key areas of the event were education, science and technology, youth entrepreneurship and start-ups, youth leadership and youth civic engagement.
Proposals and recommendations were developed upon results of the large-scale event for the development of Russian-African cooperation and forms of interaction between the youth of the partner countries.
