ASU Employees Speak about Their Developments at Army-2022 Forum

Young scientists of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University Pavel Tamkov and Mikhail Gladyshev finished their participation in the international military and engineering exhibition, having established cooperation with several companies, organizations and even representatives of foreign countries.

The Army-2022 forum was held on August 15-21 in the Patriot park of Kubinka, Moscow Region. Employees of the ASU Common Use Center for Viable Technologies in Electronics & Robotics presented three projects at the event in partnership with the Aksion company from Izhevsk, including the development of SMELCOM ROV, an underwater multifunctional robotic complex PROMETHEUS.

In the last days of the forum, the Astrakhan participants managed to establish comprehensive cooperation with organizations like Rosatom, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and EMERCOM. Especially strong working relations were built with the latter department.

Thus, young scientists came to an agreement with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan to present developments and demonstrate their work at the site of the ministry and agreed with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan to survey the bottom of the water bodies of this region. In addition, the researchers were invited to visit Lake Baikal.

In addition to presenting their developments at the exhibition, employees of the ASU Common Use Center for Viable Technologies in Electronics & Robotics attended a session on the issues of unmanned vehicles and granted an interview to the channel NANO, talking about their projects.
