Sunshine City: Luhansk Schoolchildren Are Shown ASU
The journey across the locations of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University was very informative, healthy and tasty for the participants of the specialized session.
In the laboratory complex of the university, Acting Director of the Institute of Physics and Mathematics Aleksey Rybakov showed the children unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft and copter types and an underwater robot manufactured at ASU, spoke about the principles of operating various models of 3D printers, and demonstrated machine tools for manufacturing printed circuit boards and high-precision products themselves.
The children who are keen on the Humanities got interested in the opportunities offered by the ASU Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation, one of the best T & I schools in Russia.
The Neighbours ethnospace prepared a rich programme for the participants of the specialized session. There the schoolchildren continued their acquaintance with the culture and customs of the peoples of Astrakhan Region.
The organizers of the tour did not forget to “refresh” the guys who were not used to the Astrakhan heat. A swimming lesson was held for the schoolchildren in the university pool. Under the guidance of the coaches of the School of Sports, Physical Development and Healthy Lifestyle, the boys and girls overcame water distances with pleasure.
