Konstantin Markelov Attends 7th Caspian Media Forum
Together with other representatives of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University, the rector took part in the first day of the international event. During the opening ceremony, the speakers outlined the main issues currently existing in the media and discussed the prospects for cooperation between countries.
The 7th Caspian Media Forum in Astrakhan brought together journalists, representatives of state authorities, experts, scientists and political researchers, leaders of public organizations in Russia and the countries of the Caspian region, media professionals and students.
This year, the main topic of the forum is “Caspian Media. Youth Dimension”. For the Caspian states, it is crucial to maintain and develop the youth focus of the macroregion and educate a new generation of media professionals who are ready to meet the challenges of the time, the organizers say.
Astrakhan State University is actively working in this direction. Thus, the youth agenda and its reflection in the media were also among the core issues of the 2nd International Scientific Forum “Caspian Region 2022: Sustainable Development Trajectories”, held on May 22-24, 2022 at ASU.
