Astrakhan State University Celebrates the 31st Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence

A master class was held at ASU to celebrate the occasion. The event was attended by foreign students who wanted to support their compatriots and show the national cohesiveness.

The master class was held by professor of the Department of Asian Languages ​​Resul Shadzhiev. He told the students about the Monument of Independence and showed a presentation and a video dedicated to this holiday.

Students were also able to take part in various interactive competitions and show their creativity.

Some of them solved a crossword puzzle, while others tried and draw the Monument of Independence of Turkmenistan. Young people who distinguished themselves in competitions received memorable gifts.

The students themselves took the initiative in holding the festive event. On the festive evening, they sang and played the dutar, their national instrument.

The community of Turkmenistan showed active participation inviting a large number of compatriots to the celebration.
