ASU Representative Attends the Discussion Platform of IPR EDU 2022 Educational Workshop

The event was held in Sochi and became the fifth professional meeting of delegates from Russian universities. Astrakhan Tatishchev State University was represented by Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Recruitment Sabina Velikaya.

The ASU delegate spoke at the discussion platform Global Focus: What International Programs Do Universities Need and What Are the Quality Criteria? The session participants discussed the prospects for the implementation of projects in universities.

A wide range of issues related to the impact of international programs on the development of exports of Russian education was considered within the framework of the proposed topic. The participants also discussed new methods of attracting foreign students and professionals to Russian universities.

In her speech, the head of the Department of International Cooperation and Recruitment paid special attention to the projects implemented at ASU that are aimed at sociocultural adaptation and play an important role in increasing interest in learning the Russian language among foreign students. These are such initiatives as the TeleBridge of Friendship, the Friendship Club of the Peoples of the World, the Ethnolaboratory of Student Initiatives and others. These projects contribute to the development of sustainable social ties in the international youth network space.

At the end of the discussion, the participants discussed the main prospects for the development and implementation of new programs in the Russian language.
