ASU Professors Speak at the Council of Rectors of Astrakhan Universities
During the meeting, representatives of higher educational institutions of the region provided information on initiatives that are successfully implemented in educational institutions. The meeting of the Council of Rectors was moderated by its Chairman, President of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University Aleksandr Lunev.
Galina Palatkina, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education, Art, Service, and Culture, spoke about the positive experience of applying pedagogical design principles at ASU:
“The educational landscape of Astrakhan State University, created over the 90 years of the university’s existence, has a unique quality – stability. It is stable in nurturing the generations of purposeful, socially active professionals, who have successfully worked for the good of Russia.”
Elena Khlyshcheva, the Head of the Department of Cultural Studies of ASU, dwelled on the dialogue of cultures in the Caspian macroregion and noted that the diversity of ethnic groups of Astrakhan Region allows building productive interaction with representatives of any nationalities among the students.
Anna Polumordvinova, the Vice-Rector for Discipline and Public Relations of Astrakhan State Technical University also spoke at the meeting. She presented information on the implementation of patriotic education projects for student youth.
Adelia Usmanova, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Activities and Discipline of the Astrakhan Conservatory, shared information about grant activities of the institution, and also introduced laureates of international competitions, who skillfully performed several musical works. She also stressed that the educational institution is implementing several projects aimed at maintaining a single creative space and unlocking the potential of children and youth.
