ASU Representatives Improve Their Qualifications at Russia – the Land of Opportunities Organization

Heads of structural units of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University are doing courses on managerial competencies of the organization’s management level at the Senezh Management Workshop together with employees of twenty other Russian universities.

The purpose of the educational program is to develop cross-professional competencies and form well-coordinated teamwork of university representatives.

Prior to the training of managers, the cross-professional competencies of 736 ASU employees were assessed by Russia – the Land of Opportunities organization this March. The test results allowed to obtain generalized and personalized data on the development of the skills of the university staff, identify corrective and preventive measures for lagging cross-profile competencies, and design a personalized development plan for the university staff.

The advanced training program “Managerial Competencies of Organization’s Management Level” includes such blocks as “Goal-setting in management activities”, “Team building and principles of successful teamwork in an educational organization”, “Leadership as a management technology. Personal qualities of a leader”, and “Strategic thinking as a competitive advantage”.
