ASU Rector to Head Section on Scientific and Educational Projects of CIS Countries
The head of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University have taken part in the meeting of the Expert Advisory Council of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots.
During the event, the creation of different sections within the framework of the Committee was discussed, in particular, on the issues of information and psychological security of the council, on the issue of migration and changes in the legislation to support compatriots and those living abroad. Rector of Astrakhan Tatishchev State Konstantin Markelov will lead the track of scientific and educational projects of the CIS countries.
Also a number of promising issues, including participation of the members of the Expert Advisory Council in the events and projects, were discussed at the session. In the coming six months, members of the Council will take active part in the parliamentary hearings “On the priorities of the Russian presidency in the Eurasian Economic Union in 2023,” which will be held on April 18 in the Oktyabrskiy Hall of The House of the Unions, and in the CIS summit in early March.
Konstantin Markelov took the opportunity to invite participants to take part in the 3rd International Scientific Forum “Caspian Region 2023: Sustainable Development Trajectories” on May 29-31 in Astrakhan.
After the event, the rector of ASU met with Viktor Vodolatsky, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots.
