In addition, Astrakhan Tatishchev State University runs the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists and the Students’ Scientific Council; they promote the professional growth of young scientists and create conditions for the development of youth scientific initiatives. Competitions and various sports events are also held among foreign students of educational organizations of Astrakhan Region.

“Astrakhan Tatishchev State University has an extensive geography of foreign students. To date, more than 1,500 foreign students from 40 countries study at the university, which gives them a unique opportunity to learn each other’s cultures in educational and extracurricular activities. Making the necessary conditions and mechanisms for a comfortable stay of foreign students at Astrakhan Tatishchev State University for their study period is a strategic task, and club-based activities, as reality and accumulated experience show, is one of the ways to address it,” Angelina Fadina noted in her speech.
