Main Areas of Cooperation with the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Field of Education Are Discussed at ASU

In the course of the Azerbaijani delegation visit, Astrakhan Tatishchev State University held a meeting with Egor Ugarov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Astrakhan Region, and Ilya Toropitsyn, Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations of Astrakhan Region.

Together with Konstantin Markelov, the head of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University, and Angelina Fadina, ASU Vice Rector for International Activity, the guests outlined prospects for cooperation with Astrakhan Region educational institutions.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Astrakhan Region is willing to cooperate and develop projects in oil & gas and agricultural fields.

The representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan also noted that they are ready to provide educational institutions with Azerbaijani training materials and arrange teachers’ exchange to strengthen international relations. Further to the meeting, the parties participated in the round table Heydar Aliyev’s Contribution to Developing Cooperation Between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
