Delegation from Iran Visits ASU Center of Farsi & Iran Studies

Representatives of Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran together with the filmmakers of Sea of Goodness visited Astrakhan Tatishchev State University to meet ASU students studying Farsi.

First Consul Purseyed Seyyed-Sattar presented the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Astrakhan at the meeting.

ASU Vice Rector for International Activity Angelina Fadina delivered an opening speech and pointed out the importance of cooperation and friendly ties between the two countries and their peoples, as well as the necessity for expanding cultural ties and strengthening mutual understanding.

In the course of the meeting, the guests got information about the activities of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation and the Center of Farsi & Iran Studies.

The Iranian delegation expressed gratitude to ASU personnel for the cordial welcome and the interest in Iranian culture and language. Both parties expressed their hope for further promotion of the cooperation.
