Long-Awaited Final of ASU's League of Club of the Funny & Inventive

In middle May 2014, the final seasonal game of the Club of the Funny & Inventive has taken place at ASU. Seven teams were struggling for a victory.

The university scene has received a team of ASU’s foreign students, the Ricochet team from ASU’s Technical College, the IDM team from the Historical Department, the First Trade Union team, a team from the Law Department, the Anna Karenina team from the Department of Philology & Journalism, and the Abstract Thinking team from the Department of Social Communications.

After a traditional welcome number and an intense “biathlon”, four teams have become the finalists: Anna Karenina, the Law Department team, the Ricochet team, and the Abstract Thinking.

As for the musical home assignment, the Ricochet team has told about Astrakhan in their song. The Anna Karenina team’s song has focused on different versions of the Prostokvashino cartoon shown in different places and in different times. The Law Department team has presented a musical miniature about variety stars detained by the police. As for the Abstract Thinking team, it sang a song about an old Native American; its song was accompanied with a guitar.

Video dubbing was the final part of the contest. It has helped reveal the absolute winner - the Anna Karenina team. The title of the best actress has been granted to Elena Tin from the Department of Philology & Journalism. Pyotr Opanyuk from the Department of Social Communications has become the best actor. As for the nomination “Best Joke”, it has been won by the Law Department team.
