Last Beep of Reminiscence Train at Department of Social Communications
In late May 2014, ASU’s Department of Social Communications of ASU held a concert dedicated to the Last Bell - the holiday of school and university graduates. Students of the Department transformed the scene into a Reminiscence Train.
The scene has been turned into a train platform to see off graduates of such specialties as Culture Studies, Political Science, Sociology, and the first group of graduates in International Relations. The graduates have applied a peculiar approach towards the holiday arrangement. Prof. Baeva, Dean of the Department, has opened a concert program and congratulated the graduates on their successful completion of studies. As the stations “Culture Studies”, “Political Science”, “Sociology”, and “International Relations” were approaching, Head of the Chairs of the Department were giving their farewell speeches; they wished their graduates good luck in their further lives.
The concert prepared by the students of the Department has included a whole series of numbers - comedian sketches, dances (from classical waltz to playboy steps), and a number of funny jokes. The concert has been finished with a song “The Circle Is Closed”. According to our graduates, the Last Bell has been very warm-hearted. They especially liked the moment when they all thought of a wish while letting air balloons into the open sky - that was an emotional ending of the holiday.
Let us congratulate all the graduates of the Department of Social Communications and wish them to defend their diploma papers successfully!
