ASU Shares Experience in Performance of Socialization Projects

Professor Sergey Khrapov, Research Supervisor of the Program “Socialization: CDIO Technologies”, and Ms. Marina Vakkasova, Chairperson of the Students’ Scientific Council, have taken part in the meeting “Fundamentals of Federal Youth-Related Policy in Russian Federation up to 2025”.

The meeting has been held at Southern Federal University; it has been supervised by the Russian Federal Ministry of Education & Science. It is of great value for the national development, as it will be a strategic document in the sphere of youth-related policy.

According to Mr. Alexander Stradze, who supervises the entire meeting, the federal program of youth-related policy up to 2016 is out of date. That is why it is necessary to select new directions in work with Russia’s young people as soon as possible. “We have to make this document interesting for young people of the whole country. According to the recent survey, only 17 % of young people know about such a document, and only 20 % of those who know about it could say what its goal and strategy are”, he said.

Special attention has been paid to providing favorable conditions for the maximal realization of the human potential within the cultural sphere. Professor Khrapov has given a report whose theme was “Socialization: CDIO Technologies”; he has told about socialization projects at ASU and how they favor the development of students’ competencies that are really necessary for them. The report has been of profound interest for the audience.

The issue of developing students’ unions has also been under consideration, as well as the issue of providing the right conditions to develop students’ and young specialists’ research potential. Gaining practical experience for future successful employment has been one of the most acute questions that were discussed at the meeting.
