Become Our Psychological Student… for One Day!

Senior students of Astrakhan’s secondary schools have become students of the Department of Psychology of Astrakhan State University for one day.

It has already become a good tradition  at the Department of Psychology to organize the professional orientation event “Become Our Student for One Day”, which aims to tell our prospective students about everyday life of a university student. On Nov. 06, 2015, the Department has opened its doors for 23 “one-day” students. During that unusual academic day, the young people have learnt about professional tools that a psychologist applies at an educational institution; they have tried to make up a strategy to resolve family conflicts; they have also taken part in a psychodiagnostic examination. Besides, the young people have also learnt much valuable information about psychological specializations, about entrance examinations, and about university students’ academic, research, and creative activities.
