Success of Our Mathematician Students in Information Security

Students of Astrakhan State University’s Department of Mathematics & Information Technologies have won prizes at the recently held event in the field of information security.

Outcomes of the Open Competition for the Best Research Papers in Information Security, which was arranged by the Federal Academic Association “Information Security”, have been recapped. A large number of Russian universities that train future specialists in this field have taken part in it.

Students of Astrakhan State University have won prizes: the 2nd place has been won by Alexander Suslov and Sergey Zelenskiy (with their research paper “Identification of Users at Sites of Collective Access to Network Services”); the 3rd place has been gained by Sergey Gorbatenko (the name of his research paper is “Project of Secured Information Exchange between Certifying Center & Centers of Public Services”).

As for Nikita Anshakov, another student of ASU, he has become one of the twenty winners of the National Contest “Infoforum – New Generation – 2016”. This event is held to motivate and encourage students and young specialists working in the sphere of information security. People of 74 Russian universities have taken part in it.
