Volunteers Share Experience

The roundtable “Charity & Volunteering: From Early to Present Days” has been held at Astrakhan State University.

Professors and students of ASU have discussed the history of charity and the present-day volunteering movements. Our students have told about various volunteering organizations in whose activities they participate, about charity events in which they took part. They help low-income families and families with many children, ill kids, homeless animals and asylums for them; they participate in events related to environmental protection, etc.

Such activities contribute to our students’ socialization, as well as to development of charity in Astrakhan Region.
