Program “Time to Take Action” Starts

In late April 2016, the 1st video broadcast “NO FEAR, or How To Act Despite Being Afraid” has taken place as a part of the International Program of Youth Entrepreneurship Development “Time to Take Action”.

The Program aims to involve students in entrepreneurial activities and develop their competencies in the field of business and economy. The first class was moderated by Mr. Maxim Kiselyov, a Partner of the Granat Sk Venture Partnership, an experienced mentor and a well-known expert.

Reps of most diverse spheres of business were speakers at this event:

Mr. Yuri Terekhov (R&D Director of the TIS Company that manufactures roller bearings, drive belts, conveyor belts, etc.);

Mr. Denis Kuznetsov (founder of the Kolizey Tekhnologiy Group of Companies that produces manholes, hatches, protective screens, etc.);

Mr. Alexey Lukovenko (ex-Counselor of General Manager of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange and ex-Director for Investments of the ROEL CAPITAL Management Company).

The three speakers told in details how they launched their business; they gave valuable recommendations and explained to their young audience what risks one should not fear.

Students of various specializations, as well as our faculty staff, came to this event. The first class was finished by Mr. Dmitry Borovikov, Chief of the Project “Time to Take Action”. He remarked that determination and resolve help achieve the desirable results; he also thanked the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, as well as the regional hosts for their support in realization of this project (which will be over on May 26) in all the regions of Russia. Upon the completion of the training module, all the participants shall be given certificates.
