Our Tradition to Win Prizes at Turkish Language Competitions

Students of the Department of Foreign Languages of Astrakhan State University have won prizes at the 12th National Competition in Turkish Language arranged by the Institute of Asian & African Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University and dedicated to the 60th anniversary of this Institute.

The Competition included oral and written contests, public defense of an abstract, a translation and interpretation contest, recitation of poems and singing songs in Turkish, as well as contests of short and presentation films.

Students of Astrakhan State University win prizes at this Competition every year, and this year was not an exception. It was a good opportunity for our people to demonstrate their knowledge, meet their peers who also study Turkish, and get unforgettable impressions.

Three 4th-year-students of ASU have taken the 3rd place in different contests: Nursultan Urazaliev – in the oral contest; Svetlana Popova – in the abstract defense contest; Maria Loseva – in the short film contest.

Let us congratulate our prizewinners on their success in Moscow!
