Our Students Participate in Social Projects Championship

Preliminary training of student teams – participants of the upcoming Step Up Russia Championship of Social Projects – has recently taken place at the Department of Business & Economy of Astrakhan State University.

The event is a national student contest of projects aiming to promote social entrepreneurship. Its goal is to select regional projects that would be of real interest for the public, for regional authorities, and for potential investors, as well as develop young people’s entrepreneurial initiative to tackle social problems.

Three teams have been formed at ASU; each of them comes up with its own business ideas and video presentations. The training concerned the main focal points of the future projects: market capacity, target audiences, promotion strategy and tactics, and business plans.
