Festival of Sports Socialization Projects Takes Place

The Festival of Sports Socialization Projects in basketball and mini football took place in the Zvezdny Sports Facility on Nov. 10-11, 2016.

The main goal of this project is to involve students of Astrakhan State University in the social cultural university environment, which is the necessary condition of their successful socialization.

Both the Mini Football and the Basketball projects included a quiz (the history, the rules, and refereeing), goal shooting, penalty shootouts, and team tactics. Teams of Departments of ASU had to present all that to the jury.

The jury included Ms. Farida Rekesheva (as the Chairperson), Mr. Sergey Popov, Prof. Sergey Khrapov, Ms. Natalia Drokina, Mr. Sanan Gamidov, and Ms. Alisa Dolotkazina.

Upon the jurors’ decision, the winners shall be awarded in the following nominations: “Mini Football Sports Project Winner”; “Basketball Sports Project Winner”, and “2016 Leader”. The awards ceremony is to take place on December 01 at the Cultural Center of ASU.
