Executive of LOGO e.V Visits ASU

On Dec. 07, 2016, Dr. Hartwig Mennen, Chairman of LOGO e.V, visited Astrakhan State University.

ASU has been in close cooperation with this institution since 2004. Over the past years, 37 students of our University have covered a practical training program at Germany’s agricultural enterprises.

Dr. Mennen has supervised the 1st stage to select candidates for a summer practical training program in Germany. All the students of our Agrarian Department, who speak German, came to the meeting; 10 of them took part in the selection. Dr. Mennen was pleased with their German language skills. Seven students passed the 1st selection stage.

The 2nd stage will be held in late March 2017 online. ASU has an agreement with LOGO e.V to send its students to acquire hands-on skills in Germany up to 2020.
