Professors of ASU Receive Letters of Commendation from Regional Authorities

An official reception in honor of the Day of Russian Science has taken place at the Residence of Governor of Astrakhan Region. Mr. Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of Astrakhan Region, and Mr. Sergey Frolov, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Astrakhan Region, congratulated scholars of Astrakhan on their professional holiday.

Regional authorities award local researchers on an annual basis. This time, two professors of Astrakhan State University were among the awardees. Dr. Lyudmila Batasheva from our Chair of General Linguistics & Speech Studies and Prof. Nikolay Grishin from our Chair of Political Science & International Relations received letters of commendation by the Regional Ministry of Education and Science.
