Management of ASU Congratulates the Caspian Wolves on Successful Performance

The Caspian Wolves, the male basketball team of Astrakhan State University, had an official meeting with Prof. Alexander Lunev, our Acting Rector.

Mr. Farkhad Sultanov, the team coach, told the Acting Rector about the recently held championship of the Association of Student Basketball, as well as about the team’s performance in the higher division “Southern” and in the local division “Astrakhan”. The Caspian Wolves took the 3rd place in Southern Russia, which is the best achievement of an Astrakhan team over the past 15 years. Besides, the team won the golden medal in the Astrakhan city championship for the first time over the five seasons that this competition has been held.

In his turn, Prof. Lunev congratulated our basketball players and wish them to achieve further progress and advance to the national level.
