ASU Becomes a Top 10 Participant of International Competition

Astrakhan State University just became a top 10 university among the numerous participants of the 3rd International Professional Competition of Faculty Staff "University Teacher – 2017".

The event united university lecturers from 179 universities of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

In the nomination “Project-Related & Methodical Competencies”, three professors of the Chair of Modern Russian Language of our University – Prof. Lidiya Zolotykh, Prof. Liudmila Batasheva, and Dr. Malika Kunusova – won the 1st place. The name of their project is “Modern Technologies of Educating Foreign Students in Russian under Conditions of Dialogue of Cultures”, which implies practical introduction of new tools into the educational process.

As a result of the competition, Astrakhan State University took the 7th place on the ranking list of the event participants.
