Laureates & Nominees of Festival Student Sports Socialization Project Declared

The Festival Student Sports Socialization Project in volleyball and basketball has taken place at Astrakhan State University.

Students of 18 Departments of our University have taken part in the volleyball competition; the basketball one involved people of 16 Departments.

The main task of the project is mass involvement of our students’ in formation and development of the social and cultural environment of our University, which is a necessary condition of their successful socialization.

The closing ceremony included demonstration of theoretical knowledge (the history of basketball and football, the rules of the game, and refereeing) and practical skills (passing, serving, sprinting).

A competent jury that included staff members of ASU assessed the participants’ games.

Laureates and nominees were declared at the closing ceremony in the Cultural Center of Astrakhan State University.
