Discussing Project Activities

The 2nd National Applied Scientific Conference with International Participation "Traveling to World of Projects" has taken place at the Institute of Continuing Professional Education of Astrakhan State University.

The event was arranged by the Chair of Pedagogics & Continuing Professional Education of ASU. Over 400 students and their professors took part in it. Its agenda included such sections as Surrounding World; Geographical Research of Environment; Chemistry in Our Life; Russian Language & Literature; Social & Economic Issues; Physics & Mathematics; Magic World of Arts.

Prof. Galina Fayzieva, giving a welcoming speech to the event participants, wished them good luck and highly assessed their being prepared for project activities.

Various projects were presented at the Conference; they were of special interest for both young students and adults. The participants learnt how to detect water diluted in milk, how to create electric current by applying a fruit electrolyte; they also studied scientific aspects of molecular cuisine; they were told about dangers related to manipulative application of euphemisms, etc.

Dr. Tatyana Kolesnikova, Key Researcher of the Institute of Education Development in Astrakhan, and Dr. Irina Romanovskaya, Head of the Chair of Pedagogics & Continuing Professional Education, moderated the Conference.

The project summaries have been published as a single book; each participant received a certificate.

The event agenda also included the seminar "Project as a Form of Students' Curricular & Extracurricular Activities as per Federal Educational Standards".

In her final speech, Dr. Romanovskaya emphasized urgency of the presented works, as well as their high quality; she wished the participants good luck in making their boldest dreams come true.
