Sports Holiday at ASU

A sports holiday for students has been held at the swimming pool of Astrakhan State University.

The event was arranged by the Trade Union of ASU and our School of Sports, Physical Development, and Healthy Lifestyle.

The event program included:

• Tilting forward from the standing position with straight legs on a gym bench;
• Raising the trunk from the back-lying position;
• Shooting with an electronic gun by sitting or standing, with elbows based on a table or a support from a 10-meter distance;
• Timed swimming by using any style;
• Darts.

Dr. Konstantin Markelov, Acting Rector of ASU, visited the holiday. He wished the young people successful achievement of the goals they set themselves.

The winners in each sports discipline were awarded with prizes by the Trade Union of ASU.
