Master Class in Japanese Calligraphy Held at ASU

The Creative Workshop of Astrakhan State University “Art Salon” has taken part in the traditional event “Days of Japanese Culture in Astrakhan”.

Jointly with the Unit of the Russian-Asian Cooperation of ASU, the Creative Workshop arranged a master class in Japanese calligraphy delivered by Ms. Kaori Ishijima. This is a traditional Japanese art; masterpieces by real masters conceal a profound philosophical meaning, as well as the entire ancient history of the Japanese nation.

The master class impressed the Astrakhan audience so greatly that Ms. Ishijima repeated it. thanks to this master class, each participant could feel the beauty, harmony, grace, and elegance of the Japanese culture.
