French Cuisine Party at ASU
A French Cuisine Party was held in the Clear Water restaurant of Astrakhan State University on March 21, 2018.
Students of ASU did their best to reconstruct the genuine atmosphere of the French cuisine, which a UNESCO world heritage. Guests of this event, just as clients of 3, 000 restaurants in 150 countries, have become participants of the Goût de France International Festival, which is held under the aegis of the EU and French authorities. For ASU, this event is a research educational project that helps our students realize their ideas in the field of healthy and functional nutrition, as well as apply their professional competencies in practice.
Students of the Biological Department of ASU covering the master program “Functional Nutrition”, which is carried out jointly with Artois University (Arras, France), have demonstrated excellent skills in cooking and serving meals. The entire menu had previously been agreed with the organizers of the International Festival and published on its official web site.
Musical performance by our future lawyers, philologists, journalists, and social workers contributed to the pleasant and cosy atmosphere at this event.
