Astrakhan State University has become a site to host a seminar for future federal experts and public observers of the State Final Certification of secondary school graduates prior to their enrolment to universities. The event was initiated by the regional offices of youth and student public organizations.

Such a large-scale event as the State Final Certification requires a preliminary selection of volunteers and their additional training. This was the aim that the seminar set itself. Reps of the Regional Ministry of Education & Science gave their speeches at the event. In particular, Ms. Elena Dudina, Deputy Minister of Education & Science, told about the official policy in running the State Final Certification and its monitoring. “Our work aims to have young people with the best knowledge and the best exam scores enrolled to budget-funded positions. This is a crucial task for us”, she pointed out.
