Students of ASU Demonstrate High Potential of Their R & D

The Festival of Scientific Socialization Projects has begun at Astrakhan State University. All our Departments took part in this large-scale event.

The two-day Festival aims to demonstrate the innovative potential of our University, promote our students’ R & D, and provide the young people with a comfortable social space. Its visitors can learn about our innovations and talk with our young researchers.

Our students’ projects are not just to entertain visitors and decorate the event. Almost all our inventions are applicable in practice, for example, our mobile phone network monitoring programs and vessels automated information monitoring software by our Department of Geology & Geography or a portable fridge with solar batteries by our Department of Physics & Technology. Humanitarian specialties provided innovations, too. Our Department of Social Communications presented its project of an interactive roadmap for our prospective students, while our Department of Foreign Languages developed a language quest up and down the tourism routes of Astrakhan.

Reps of large companies, potential investors and employers came to the Festival to find real prospects of cooperation. Their range includes oil-and-gas enterprises, railroad facilities, etc.
