Dean of Our Department of Social Communications Takes Part in International Conference in Samara

Prof. Liudmila Baeva, Dean of the Department of Social Communications of Astrakhan State University, has given a plenary session report at the International Conference “Culture Modernization” held on April 26-27 at the Samara State Institute of Culture. The event aimed to consider the fate of values in the modern world.

The plenary session report by Prof. Baeva concerned the issue of existential values under conditions of electronic culture; it was followed with a number of questions that the audience asked the speaker and a vivid discussion. Prof. Baeva also headed the philosophical section at the conference and gave a master class in innovative methods of teaching Philosophy developed by the Chair of Philosophy of ASU.
