An international consortium, in which Astrakhan State University participates, has won a competition of projects related to development of higher education as part of the EU Program “Erasmus+”.

One of them, whose name is MAGNUS, relates to development of a master program in mobile applications and game design. A number of universities, including our University, developed it.

Linköping University (Sweden) and Southern Federal University (Russia) coordinate this project. Besides them, higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Portugal, and Estonia take part in it.

The MAGNUS project aims to launch a master program in mobile applications and game design, whose syllabus includes a general part; three tracks are planned for the 2nd year of studies – development of mobile apps for medicine and education, as well as development of computer games.

Each participant of this project will assume a specific area of computer games, as well as another track. ASU is planning to develop mobile apps for education.
