Astrakhan State University bridges Azerbaijan and Russia
Being on a business trip to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Konstantin Markelov, the ASU Acting Rector, met the administration of leading Azerbaijani universities, signed new agreements and extended the existing ones.
Baku State University and Baku Slavic University continue to be partners of Astrakhan State University: the parties renewed the existing agreements on cooperation.
Baku State University have been cooperating with ASU in the field of Biology for a long time: Astrakhan experts have given lectures in the Azerbaijani university many times, and its graduates continue their studies at Astrakhan State University.
A representative of Baku Slavic University has recently visited ASU. The universities have been cooperating on a regular basis since 2012. The partnership includes academic and student mobility, projects in the Humanities and publication of research papers.
As for our new official friends, these are Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and Azerbaijan Technical University.
The plan of joint activities includes programmes on academic mobility between the universities, joint research projects on environmental, economic and geopolitical security issues of the Caspian Sea region, joint grant application and cooperation with scientific journals of the universities.
