ASU Students Are Laureates of a Prestigious Award.

On October 24, the Astrakhan State Philharmonic received participants of the regional stage of the Russian National Award «Student of the Year 2018». Among the participants, there are a lot of representatives of our university.

The solemn ceremony was opened by Igor Martynov, Chairman of the Astrakhan Regional Duma. He heartily congratulated the students and wished them victory at the contest federal stage. The participants also received words of encouragement from Vitaly Gutman, Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Astrakhan region, Viktor Nurtazin, Deputy Director of the regional Youth Agency, and Inna Golobokova, President of the Astrakhan regional organization «Russian Union of Youth».

According to Inna Karikh, Executive Director of the award «Student of the Year», only Moscow and Astrakhan were qualified for the final stage. Irina noted the Astrakhan participants’ high level of professionalism but stressed that great responsibility now rests with the winners.

The final stage of the award «Student of the Year 2018» is being held on November 7-9 at Astrakhan State University.
